Online Therapy
Providing secure, video-based therapy in South Carolina
Online Therapy Is The Most Convenient Way To Get The Help You Need, Wherever You Are.
When I began offering online therapy, I was nervous that it would feel impersonal or disconnected. I feared that having sessions through video would keep me from being able to provide the best therapy to my clients.
Boy, was I wrong.
Online therapy also allows me to work with people who live across the state and who may not have access to high-quality providers where they live. I’m able to work with anyone whose permanent address is in South Carolina, so even if you’re not local to the Upstate, we can work together.
In a lot of ways, online therapy is very similar to in-office therapy. There’s no confusing software to download — all you need is an internet connection and a pair of headphones for privacy.
So How Does It Work?
1
Whether you’re wanting to do a combination of online and in-office or work with me exclusively online, you’ll start off by scheduling your free, no-obligation 20-minute phone consultation.
2
During your call, I’ll ask you some questions and allow you to ask me anything so that we can see if we’re a good fit for each other.
3
After your consultation, I’ll email you a link to your client portal where you can complete the intake paperwork at your leisure prior to your first session. You’ll also receive a link to your virtual “waiting room,” and you’ll use this same link to attend every session.
4
A few minutes before your session, you’ll simply click the link and wait until I begin the session. It will look just like FaceTime or Skype, only it will be a secure connection to ensure your privacy.
